Why Epoch Church?
We believe there is a contemporary need for a vintage faith. Have you ever wondered what church looked like... before it became "churchy"? We believe the 21st century church will look more like the 1st century than ever before. We desire to start from the beginning with a Christ-centered, Bible-based focus. The Lord has provided an opportunity to become established in a marketplace saturated area in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a "come as you are" church that's not too stuffy and not too fluffy. We desire to walk with you into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Let us treat you to a cup of coffee and good fellowship!
Happenings...
New Series on Doctrine
On January 15th at 6:00 p.m., we began a new series entitled "Doctrine". This in-depth look into what we believe, is a study that will be beneficial for everyone. There will also be provided an opportunity at each service for you to ask questions.
Beginning of the End
On Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m., we are continuing our Bible study, The Beginning of the End. You will want to be a part of this study of the Book of Revelation, a stunning book of prophecy and end-time events. If you miss a Wednesday night study, they will be recorded and can be found on the sermon page.
Giving Challenge
On the last Sunday in January (Jan. 29th), we will be issuing a challenge to everyone to increase your giving by 1% over the tithe. This is a perfect time of year to commit ourselves to excellence in giving. If you are not a tither, this is also an opportunity to be obedient and commit to becoming one.
New Church Directory
We are in the process of updating our computer records and our Church Directory for 2012. For the next couple of weeks there will be a brief form inserted in your bulletin that needs to be filled out by each person. Please complete the form as soon as possible and place it in the offering plate.
